Do you accept insurance for individual therapy?
We accept most major insurance plans, and also offer self-pay options. Please reach out to us at info@bluebirdcc.org to confirm your specific coverage before scheduling. We are happy to help you understand your benefits.
How long does individual therapy typically last?
The duration of therapy is different for everyone. Some clients find meaningful progress in a few months; others choose to continue longer. We'll work collaboratively with you to set goals and revisit the plan regularly so therapy always feels purposeful. You're encouraged to ask questions anytime, you are the driver in your journey.
What if I'm not sure which therapist is the right fit?
That's a completely normal concern. When you reach out, we take the time to understand what you're looking for so we can match you thoughtfully, or offer referral options if we do not currently have a provider that seems like a good match for your needs. Fit matters deeply to us, and we'll support you in finding the right person.
Do you offer telehealth for individual therapy?
Yes, some of our providers offer telehealth as a therapy option. Our office offers both in-person sessions at our Lititz, PA office and secure telehealth sessions for clients located in Pennsylvania. Please let us know your preference when you reach out.
What is the difference between individual therapy and other types of counseling?
Individual therapy is one-on-one work between you and your therapist, with sessions focused entirely on your personal goals and experiences. Unlike group or family therapy, it provides a fully private and personalized space where every conversation centers on you.
Is what I share in therapy confidential?
Confidentiality is foundational to therapy. What you share with your therapist is private, with a few legally required exceptions (such as imminent risk of harm, or a report of child abuse). Your therapist will review these exceptions with you so you fully understand the limits of confidentiality.
