Brittany Beers, MS, LPC
Outpatient Therapist and Founder

Hi, I’m Brittany. I want you to know—you’re not alone.

If your mind feels like it won’t stop racing, if you replay conversations long after they’ve ended, or if you’re carrying a heaviness that feels impossible to put down… I see you. Maybe you’re grieving someone or something deeply important to you, or maybe you’re just trying to make it through the day without feeling like everything is too much. Whatever you’re holding right now, I want to help you carry it.

I’m a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Bluebird Counseling Center in Lititz, Pennsylvania. My work is rooted in compassion, and my goal is to create a space where you can breathe—where you don’t have to pretend everything’s okay. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and begin to gently untangle the thoughts and emotions that feel overwhelming.

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, grief, and loss. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe conversation, not a clinical interrogation. You set the pace, and I walk alongside you.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic tools—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Compassionate Bereavement Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and mindfulness practices—so we can find what works best for you. Whether you need help calming your nervous system, processing painful memories, or simply finding a moment of peace, we’ll tailor our work to meet your needs.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mom, a wife, and a lover of nature and photography. You might meet my dog Sadie at the office—she’s part of the healing team too.

If you’re ready to take the first step, I’m here. You don’t have to do this alone.

Samantha Fulton, M.Ed., LPC, NCC
Outpatient Child & Adolescent Therapist

Hi, I’m Samantha—and I’m here to help your child feel heard, understood, and supported.

If your child is struggling to manage big emotions, acting impulsively, having trouble thinking through consequences, or feeling overwhelmed by “what ifs,” you’re not alone—and neither are they. Maybe they’re having a hard time expressing sadness, frustration, or anger in healthy ways. Maybe they’re finding it difficult to focus on tasks they don’t enjoy, or navigating friendships feels confusing and stressful. These challenges can be tough—for kids, teens, and parents alike—and I’m here to help your family work through them together.

I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2004, supporting children, adolescents, and families through a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation for Mental and Behavioral Disabilities from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Elementary Guidance Counseling from West Chester University. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified in Trauma-Informed Practices.

Over the years, I’ve worked in many different settings—from behavioral health programs and community mental health to schools and homes—serving as a Behavioral Specialist, Mobile Therapist, and School-Based Outpatient Therapist. These experiences have shaped my approach and deepened my understanding of how to support kids and teens in ways that truly meet them where they are.

In therapy, I focus on helping young people build emotional awareness, learn healthy coping strategies, and improve decision-making and social skills. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), directive play therapy (utilizing games and activities), and traditional talk therapy, always tailoring my approach to fit your child’s developmental needs and personality. I also work closely with parents and caregivers, because I believe healing and growth happen best when the whole family feels supported.

I live in Lititz and love being part of this community. Outside of work, I enjoy running, biking, and spending time with my husband and son—family is everything to me.

If you’re looking for someone who will listen without judgment, help your child feel safe and understood, and work with your family to build lasting emotional resilience, I’d be honored to be part of your journey.

Meet Sadie – Our Therapy Dog

Hi there! I’d like to introduce you to Sadie, our beloved therapy dog at Bluebird Counseling Center LLC. We adopted Sadie from a rescue in June 2020 (her birthday is February 2020) when she was just 4 months old. At the time, I never imagined she could become an effective therapy dog due to her high energy and excitement for life.

However, shortly before I resumed in-person sessions after COVID restrictions were lifted, I noticed that Sadie began recognizing my emotions and instinctively trying to offer comfort. As I transitioned back to the office, many clients were still utilizing telehealth, so I decided to give Sadie a chance to join us. To my delight, she thrived as a therapy dog!

Sadie has her own unique style of supporting clients. She loves to snuggle next to them on the couch, and at times, she thinks of herself as a 60-pound weighted blanket, laying on laps to provide warmth and comfort. There are moments when she enjoys her solitude, snuggled in her crate, but even then, she remains attuned to the emotions in the room. If a client becomes emotional, Sadie often pops up onto the couch to offer her presence and support.

If you have any concerns about Sadie, please don’t hesitate to ask! She is more than happy to be closed into her crate during sessions if that makes you more comfortable. For the comfort of all our clients, Sadie does not sit on any furniture in the waiting room, as we want to accommodate those with allergies. We maintain a clean office space and use air purifiers to ensure a welcoming environment for everyone.

Sadie typically accompanies me, Brittany Beers, during therapy sessions, though she may also join other therapists if it aligns with client needs. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team, providing warmth and emotional support to those who seek it.
